Administrative Procedure 505: INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT STAFF ALLOCATIONS
This procedure outlines the number of staff that are supposed to be allocated to each school based on population, however, please note
that beginning in Sept 2025, some office positions will be centralized and those on-site positions will no longer be filled.

Benefits

Benefits for CUPE 5040 members are bargained in the collective agreement and provided through the Alberta School Employees Benefit Plan (ASEBP).  If you have concerns and feel you have been unreasonably denied benefits you should receive, talk to a member of the executive.

Pensions

CUPE 5040 members who work over 20 hours per week are entitled to a pension through the LAPP pension plan.  If you have questions or concerns about your pension and can't get a good answer from the employer, talk to a member of the executive.
